This assignment is a photo blog assignment which we need to present food, culture, architecture and social life of a place of interest we have chosen, Malacca the world heritage.
Aims and accomplishment:
The aim of this assignment is for us to demonstrate the principles of communication and behaviour in analyzing interaction with others, both at individual and at group level. So in return, the learning I have got are I had learned how to apply the principles of communication and behaviour in analyzing interaction with others, both at individual and at group levels as I mention above. Besides that, to be aware of the importance of cultural differences and respect cultural differences as well as to build healthy and positive relationships with fellow students, co-workers and clients is also one of the outcomes. Other than that, communicating relevant ideas in a clear, logical and appropriate academic English would be one of the most important lessons I have learn in this assignment.
Reflective:
Overall, this assignment is important for me because as an Architectural student, we need to present our design clearly and speak without offences. Speaking with the right tune and behaviour at difference places and event would help me and others as well.

We are required to choose one traditional home of our choice and describe historical background of the country, structure and layout, types of ornamentation used and type of materials used. For my case, my group have chosen Hakka round house.

While for the learning outcomes are to be aware of the importance of the cultural differences as well as to build healthy and positive relationships with fellow students, co-workers and clients. Lastly, it is to communicate the relevant ideas in clear, logical and appropriate academic English.

Even though I am Hakka, but I do not know the culture and background of it. Through this assignment, I can learn and understand the Hakka's characteristic and how they are form. Now I understand that, even though we live in this generation, we must still know and care about the past generation in order not feels left out.

Our task is to create a comic strip which describe the events related to our daily life at Taylor's University Campus. Thus for this assignment, we chose non-verbal communication as it show about
'the power of hand'.

Reflection:
Through this assignment, I realize that people actually read comic strips no matter how old they are because comic strips are easier to read with photos. And to show a message, it can be shown in different method of communication as long as the messages send is clear and logical.
